Sunflower house is a student housing cooperative started in 1969.  The house is run by students and offers a diverse and engaging cooperative experience.  Sunflower house is comprised of two older 3 story building joined together.  It is the largest student housing cooperative in Lawrence with 30 rooms.  Rent is about $250 month (2007 rate) that includes all utilities, high speed internet, laundry facilities, and various other perks.  

 

Sunflower house is located just a few blocks from the heart of the the University of Kansas main campus and within biking distance of Haskell Indian Nations University.
